The galaxies, stars and planets
are all made of matter. But w hat is "matter"? What,
exactly, is an atom? Why are objects attracted to one another by
the force of gravity and what is gravity? The atom is not a mechanical
device with sharp edges, such as is suggested by the theories of Quantum
Mechanics. It a dynamic electric, magnetic or electromagnetic field
that extends out into space indefinitely. It is also a self-regulating servomechanism.

What is a "quantum"? What is the
mechanism that produces the force of gravity? Is it possible to exceed the
"speed of light"? What is field theory, and what
is the definition of a field? What is a wave? What is "transverse
mass"? Do you believe that Quantum Mechanics can answer these
questions? These questions are answered in Dr.
Vlasak's books (see Chemical
Heritage Magazine review: for a review of "Planck's
Columbia Lectures"). There are actually two quantum theories: Planck's
quantum theory and Quantum Mechanics. These two theories
are significantly different. Planck's origninal theory was based on the
idea that atoms are oscillators that assume stable states, and the difference
in the energy between states is constant. The quantum change in energy is
hf. Planck's theory was based on an electromagnetic model
of the atom, whereas Quantum Theory is a patchwork of sub-theories, all
of which do not have to conform entirely with one another. For instance,
the electron can be a particle or a wave, assuming dual relationships. Planck,
on the other hand, showed that his model agrees with the various laws of
physics and chemistry in every way. Planck's model has not changed for 100
years, while the models of Quantum Mechanics have changed considerably over
the past few decades. The Unified
Field Theory that is described here is based on the electromagnetic
model of the atom, representing the atom as an electronic circuit and an
electromagnetic transmitter and receiver of energy.
The Einstein/Minkowski
relationship was based on the four-dimensional time/space equation in which
time and space are allowed to vary orthogonally. According to Dr. Vlasak,
this concept is flawed and not well understood. His analyses show that it
is the field of the atom that varies in accordance with this relationship,
but in a much different way. He proves that the time/space variation of
the atom's field correlates with Maxwell's equations. With

What can we depend upon in today's understanding
of the physics of the real world? A manipulation of " Planck's
natural units" provides some fundamental insights.
At least 80% of the mass/energy of the universe is
made of hydrogen, which is the most simple atom. Neils Bohr developed
the model of the "Bohr Atom", but the Bohr model
does not conform to reality. The new model described here, however,
does conform to the known measurements of atoms. For a brief description

Some physicists believe that the methods of quantum
mechanics can provide all of the answers to the unsolved mysteries of
science. However, this has not yet happened. Einstein wanted to establish
a unified field theory, uniting the concepts of "matter"
and "field", but was unsuccessful. Quantum mechanics does
not provide this unification and actually defeats it because of all of the
assumptions and disjointed theories. Dr. Vlasak believes that the proper
approach is to begin with the concept of the electromagnetic field and define
mass and objects as dynamic field wave configurations. Discover more about

The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle

The Heisenberg
Uncertainty Principle asserts that the position of fast moving
particles cannot be measured accurately. According to quantum mechanics,
the more precisely the determination of the position of a particle, the
less precisely its momentum is, or vice versa. As a result, the quantum
mechanics model of the hydrogen atom offers only an approximation of the
